Pressure Locked steel grating is also called press-locked steel Bar Grating or Plug Steel Grating. Basically, the Pressure Locked Grating have the same load capacity with the Welded Steel Grating. The difference between Pressure Locked Steel Grating and Welded Steel Grating are joint connection technology and cross bar.
Cross bar of welded steel bar grating are twisted square steel and the bearing bar are rectangular bars or I type bars. Both the bearing bars and cross bars of press-locked Steel Grating are rectangular bars.
Compared to welded steel bar grating, which is produced through resistance-welding process, the press-locked Steel Grating is constructed with the two close-tolerance slotted bars bonded together by tremendous hydraulic pressure. This type of production allows the Press-locked Steel Bar Grating to be permanently locked.
